This 2016 vintage California Barbera is a full-bodied, fruit-forward, strong and balanced delicious surprise. When produced in central Italy, Barbera can be an almost overly tannic wine. It has been produced there for nearly 800 years. But this wine made by Baby Rattlesnake Vineyards in the Sierra Foothills is very smooth.
